What is BrandBoost?
BrandBoost™ is a unique advertising platform that enables consumers to unlock premium game content by engaging with brand advertising.
BrandBoost is based on this concept of value exchange advertising: by choosing to engage with a brand, consumers get access to game content that they would otherwise have to pay for. BrandBoost works across all types of online game content and manifests itself differently based on the content type and the associated business model.

How does BrandBoost work?
1. Players are presented with a choice to either pay for access to content or engage with a brand to access for free. A logo and leaderboard ad indicates who the associated sponsor is.
2. Once the player chooses to engage with a brand, they are presented with a large format rich media experience, typically consisisting of a video with a skin. While the player is watching the ad, their free game session or item is loading in the background.
3. After :30, the player can continue to redeem their free session, subscription pass, or item
4. Finally, upon completion of the game session or redemption of the virtual item, the player is presented with a message reminding them who sponsored their content alongside an IAB standard 728X90 leaderboard ad.
All brand elements are served clickable and trackable via third-party ad servers. A BrandBoost engagement is not counted unless the user chooses to engage with the ad for at least :30. This means advertisers are guaranteed completion of :15 or :30 video spots.
