Mike Peronto - President and Chief Executive Officer
Mike Peronto joined WildTangent in January 2002 and serves as WildTangent's President and Chief Executive Officer. Peronto has more than 20 years of experience managing technology companies. Prior to WildTangent, Peronto was Vice President of Publishing Products at Adobe Systems and the Chief Operating Officer at WatchGuard Technologies, Inc., an Internet security firm. He also held the Chief Executive Officer positions at Endura Software Corp., a provider of supply chain management software, and at Viathan Corp., a provider of data storage software. He started his career as a Marketing Representative for IBM. Peronto received his M.B.A. degree in Marketing from the University of Washington and his B.A. degree from UCLA.
Tom Grina – Chief Financial Officer
Tom Grina joined WildTangent in April, 2009 and oversees all of the finance and accounting activities of the company. Tom has been a CFO for over twenty-five years for a number of companies in the Telecommunications, Software and High Tech industries. He has extensive experience in operations, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions and raising growth capital. Prior to joining WildTangent, Tom was CFO at Digital Railroad, Inc. which created a web-based e-commerce distribution and licensing platform that brought together professional photographers with buyers of digital content. Tom also held the CFO position at Digeo, Inc., Advanced TelCom Group and several other telecommunications companies. Tom began his career as a CPA with Peat Marwick in Denver, Colorado. Tom received a BS in Accounting from the University of Denver.
David Madden - Exec. Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Business Dev.
David Madden joined WildTangent in March 2000 and oversees the company’s advertising sales and marketing, business development and strategic partnerships on a global basis. A media industry veteran, Madden has extensive experience in the print, cable, broadcast and interactive media industries. Prior to WildTangent, he was the Executive Vice President of Sales for News Digital Media, the Internet Division of News Corporation. At News Digital Media, Madden ran advertising sales and marketing for the digital properties of Fox Sports, Fox News and Fox Entertainment and was tasked with cross-media integration around such properties as the World Series and Super Bowl. Previous to News Digital Media, Madden was the Associate Publisher of Runner's World magazine. At Runner's World, he oversaw sales and marketing for the U.S. and international editions. Under his leadership, Runner's World was a top 10 consumer title for advertising sales growth. Madden was elected to the IAB Board of Directors and serves as the Chair of the Interactive Games Committee. Madden received his B.A. degree from Princeton.
Matt Shea - Senior Vice President, Product Development
Matt Shea has been with WildTangent since April 2002 and is responsible for the company's technology and product development. He is the co-creator of WildTangent's WildCoins digital currency and the WildTangent ORB game console. Prior to WildTangent, Shea was the Games Group Engineering Manager at InfoSpace, Inc. where he led development across various platforms and devices. Prior to InfoSpace, Shea held the position of Engineering Director for Games at Go2Net, Inc. In that role, he oversaw large-scale online game sites including PlaySite, Lycos Games and Hasbro's Games.com. Matt got his start in the games industry at Sony Interactive Studios working on 3D graphics and massively multiplayer games while he received his B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of California at San Diego.
Sean Vanderdasson - Senior Vice President, Publishing
Bill Clifford - Vice President, Global Ad Sales
Bill joined WildTangent in October 2000 and currently manages a global ad sales organization. Bill has been a pioneer of new game advertising models that have fueled award winning campaigns for major global brands like Unilever, P&G, FOX, Paramount, Honda, Sprint, and many other top tier clients. Prior to his current position, Bill served as General Manager of Advertising Platforms as well as Creative Director. And prior to joining WildTangent, Bill was Director of West Coast Sales at News Corporation's News Digital Media (now Fox Interactive Media). He is currently an active member of the IAB Games Committee and the IAB Sales Executive Council. He is a graduate of Georgetown University.
Danny Cecil - Vice President, Operations
Danny Cecil joined WildTangent in September 2001 and manages the company's Internet Operations group as well as Corporate IT, QA, Ad Operations and Customer Support. Cecil has 23 years of experience in the computer industry including 14 years in product development and information technology at Hewlett-Packard. Prior to his work at WildTangent, Cecil managed IT and data center operations for two Seattle-area companies. Cecil received his B.S. degree in Computer Science from Colorado State University.
Mike Karaffa - Vice President, Business Development
Mike Karaffa joined WildTangent in February 2007 with over 20 years of sales and sales management experience and currently manages worldwide business development. In this capacity, Mike is responsible for establishing new business partnerships for WildTangent, along with insuring that existing partners receive exceptional levels of service and support. Prior to joining WildTangent, Mike was the Vice President of Major Accounts for Hyperion Solutions and was responsible for the creation of the program that generated over $50 million dollars in revenue within four years. In addition, Mike has held management positions with Aldus Corporation and Wang Laboratories. Mike has his M.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and B.A. degree in business and economics from Saint Josephs College.
